Warranty for lightweight concrete machines

Warranty and service for foam concrete equipment by PENBETON

Manufacturer Warranty

All foam concrete and polystyrene concrete equipment supplied by PENBETON is covered by a manufacturer warranty.

The warranty terms are specified in the Supply Agreement concluded between the manufacturer and the Buyer.

Under this warranty, PENBETON undertakes to supply replacement parts for components, assemblies, or individual parts that are found to be defective during the warranty period.

If a defect occurs and is reported within the warranty period, the manufacturer will provide the necessary replacement parts required to restore the normal operation of the equipment.

Availability of Spare Parts

PENBETON maintains a stock of essential spare parts for the equipment we supply.

If a specific spare part is temporarily unavailable in our warehouse, the Buyer may, by mutual agreement with us, carry out the repair independently or through a local service provider.

In such cases, the manufacturer will reimburse the cost of the replacement parts required to repair the equipment.

Spare parts can be shipped internationally and delivered to customers in Africa, including Namibia and South Africa.

When possible, we may also help identify compatible locally available components that can be used to restore equipment operation quickly.

What the Warranty Covers

The warranty applies to manufacturing defects in the supplied equipment that occur during the warranty period and under normal operating conditions.

The warranty includes the replacement of defective components or parts necessary to restore proper operation of the equipment.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

The warranty does not apply to defects, damage, or malfunctions caused by:

Consumable Parts

The warranty does not apply to consumable or wear parts, including but not limited to:

Replacement of consumable parts is normally performed by the equipment operator and does not require complex service procedures.

For example, replacing drive belts or other simple components can be done using standard tools.

Responsibility for Produced Materials

The manufacturer warranty applies only to the equipment itself.

The warranty does not apply to construction materials or mixtures produced using the equipment.

The quality and properties of foam concrete, polystyrene concrete, or other mixtures produced with the equipment depend entirely on:

Foam concrete equipment functions primarily as a batch mixer, whose purpose is to uniformly mix ingredients of a certain density and particle size.

The final characteristics of the produced material therefore depend on the production process controlled by the operator.

Who the Warranty Applies To

Warranty obligations apply only to the original Buyer who purchased the equipment directly from PENBETON under a signed supply agreement.

Warranty claims are accepted only from the Buyer specified in the supply contract.

The warranty does not apply to third parties.

If the equipment is resold to another person or organization, the warranty does not transfer to the new owner.

Warranty Period

The standard warranty period for equipment supplied by PENBETON is:

12 months from the date of delivery.

The exact warranty period is specified in the Supply Agreement.

The warranty period begins on the date when the equipment is transferred to:
